FORMATION AND APPLICATION OF CLAY-ORGANIC MATTER INTERLAYER COMPOUND

The preparation of new molecule clay-compound material with organic matter interlayers used asthe place of chemical reaction has paid the wide attention to by homestic and foreign scientists. Ac-cording to basal physicochemical natures of montmoril onite and kaolinite, this paper deseribes themechanism of action of the interiayers of typial 2:1 type and 1:1 type clay-like minerals with organ-ic matter; compares the differences of both; briefly explains the main influence factors and keys dtlringformation of clay-cornpound material with organic matter; briefly introduces development and stattlsquo of this material, research on it and its application in molymer material, organic reaction catalyst,high-performance ceramics and in other fields.
