The present exploratory development and prospect of the coalbed meathane in Northeast China

The coalbed meathane plays a significant part in improving the energy structure, taking precautions against firedamp explosion and protecting environment. The coal reservoir in northeast China is low to mid coal rank. It could be a good future in this area for its huge resources volume, thick coal and good permeability. It plays a good exemplary role as the first area having industry deliver ability and giving gas supply to local resident. Now, developing the adapted exploration and development technical system in this area will promote the great-leap-forward development of CBM in China.
