PREPARATION OF ACTIVE ZnO BY ONE-STEP PROCESS FROM ZnS

In this paper,the technique of preparation of active ZnO by one step process from ZnS is studied.It is possible for ZnS to be directly leached in acidity condition by adding a certain amount of oxidative agent,the recovery of zinc、manganese and sulfur are 95.7%、95% and 86.9%.The properties determination shown that the sample's specific surface area is proportional to its activity and disproportional to its crystallization.
