    Research status and development trend of monitoring technology for high and steep slope in open-pit mine

    • Based on the collection and review of the domestic and foreign literatures related to the slope monitoring technology, the existing technology for high and steep slope in open-pit mine is introduced. The main characteristics and problems of the existing technologies including surface displacement monitoring, deep displacement monitoring and deep sliding force monitoring are summarized as well. The specification requirement of the slope monitoring technology in metal and nonmetal mines is further discussed. On the basis of comprehensive analysis, it is suggested that based on the monitoring technology of regional deformation and deep sliding force, the remote real-time monitoring and forecasting technology and equipment system of landslide geological disaster is the research direction in the future. By using the multi-source information fusion technology, the sliding force monitoring and displacement monitoring of the slope surface is dominant, supplemented by other monitoring methods, a three-dimensional network system of deep and shallow joint monitoring is constituted. The modular design project is adopted according to the site environment flexibly, which can improve the accuracy and timeliness of the monitoring and early warning of the slope stability for open-pit mine.
