Discussion on commercial mineral exploration projects in the question of quality control and acceptance of the outcome

Recently, the quality of commercial mineral exploration projects varies in a wide range. To address this issue, this paper proceeds from analyzing the normal procedures of quality assessment in commercial mineral exploration project results, and then points out that the lack of monitoring process and department in charge is one of the reasons for the quality descending by years. In this paper, we introduce an independent tripartite procedure for field acceptance during the review process. It can secure formal verifications in exploration infrastructures, workloads and primary sources and will be an indispensable tool to monitor the quality of commercial mineral exploration projects. Meanwhile, we have a further discussion about the workflows, principles, contents and systems that would be followed by the independent third party while working. We demonstrate the importance of introduction of independent inspection party by using two typical cases as examples. At the end of this article, we make some suggestions to refine the procedures of quality monitoring and acceptance in commercial mineral exploration projects for the reference to the other colleagues.
