Study on grinding mechanism of vertical stirred mill

In this paper, the kinetic characteristic of grinding media in vertical stirred mill is analysedand the different abrasive effect in two grinding areas are discussed.The analysis results show increasing diameter and rotation speed of screw, decreasing helix angle will be conducive to improve grinding efficiency of tower mill. All factors should be overall considered in order to make reasonablestructure parameter and operating parameter which can obtain the maximum grinding efficiency and minimum grinding power.
