Mineralization characteristics of exponential fluctuations and deposition mechanism of hydrothermal gold deposits

Abstract
Based on mathematical statistics on mineralization abundance, including grade and linear productivity, of a hydrothermal gold deposit in Jiaodong Peninsula, three dimensions mineralization characteristics on exponential fluctuations and deposition mechanism of hydrothermal gold deposits are studied. Mineralization abundance fluctuations in exponential function from peak to valley are introduced based on change curves’ feature of grade and linear productivity in strike, dip and thickness direction, which means gold deposition mineralization mechanism of the deposit accords to mass action law of the first order chemical reaction rate. Logarithmic average method to calculate average grade and linear productivity of hydrothermal gold deposits is put forward in accordance with mineralization fluctuations law in exponential function. These research results have academic significance and practical value for further studies on hydrothermal gold mineralization characteristics, processing extra high grade, improving traditional estimation methods and advising development and utilization of gold mineral reserves.
