    Measurement and evaluation on the ecological degradation based on Entropy-weight method:a case study of Pingdingshan city,China

    • According to the composite ecosystem theory,a measuring evaluation index system of ecological degradation is established on the basis of "Pressure-State-Respond" model from the aspects of society,economic and environment,in terms of the ecological environmental situation of Pingdingshan City.The entropy-weight method is used to determine the weights of indexes.The comprehensive index method is used to evaluate and analyze the extent of the ecosystem degradation from 2000 to 2011in Pingdingshan City.The results show that:the situation of the ecological degradation has undergone the dynamic change of the "Warning-Relatively Stable" stages since 2000 in the study area.This study reveals the temporal variation rule in the process of exploitation and utilization of coal resources in this study area,which provides scientific reference for the ecological construction and the sustainable development.
