Application of integrated geophysics method in Damiao anorthosite complex

    • The Damiao anorthosite complex is rich in vanadium titanomagnetite ore bodies. In this case, we determined the position of known ore body on the earth's surface correctly with the differential GPS in sub-meter level, discovered three large scale magnetic anomalies with the Helium optically-pumped magnetometer, confirmed the directions of those stretch, and realized how the main high-magnetic anomalies extended underground with the EH4-electromagnetic image system. By the unity of the three geophysics methods, the potential of mineral resources was showed clearly, and the purpose of prospecting and estimate was achieved. This case shows that the unity of the three geophysics methods can be a generalized method of quickly-prospecting and estimating the vanadium titanomagnetite ore bodies.
