Analysis on mining resources development in Xinjiang

Xinjiang is the important strategic replacement regions of mineral resources in China, so it’s developed and utilized for economic value and strategic significance. Xinjiang has achieved economic take-off by western development polices, but the speed of mining development is still below the national average level, compared with other western provinces. Based on the SWOT analysis, this paper summarizes strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats of mining development in Xinjiang. According to the current development stage, bottlenecks of mining development in Xinjiang as well as the solutions are put forward.
