SAFE COAL MINING UNDER THE THREAT OF ORDOVICIAN LIMESTONE WATER BY DEWATERING DEPRESSION

In the Zhaogezhuang Mine of Kailuan Coal Mining Administration, the coal mining becomesdeeper and deeper, and under the serious threal of Ordovician system's limestone water. In order to releasethe coal resources and fully utilize the ground water resources, the Mine performed a dewatering depressionengineering, realized combinafion of dewatering and water supply and achieved obvious economic and socialbenefits. This paper summarises the work and effectiveness of first stage.
