APPLICATION OF DAMAGE MECHANICS ON ANALYSIS OF ROCK STRENGTH

In view of values of rock strength and stress-strain relationship got by conventional experiments are dispersal,theory of damage mechanics are used to set up rock elastic damage mechanics model in this paper.Application of damage mechanics is advantageous to reveal real property of rock strength,and is advantageous to study influence of confining pressure and damage extend on rock strength.
