    APPLICATION RESEARCH ON DEGRADATION OF AZO DYE BY TIO2/MINERAL COMPOSITE PHOTOCATALYST

    • The photocatalytic degradation of azo dye with doped nanometer TiO2/Kaolinite was investigated.The effects of azo dye initial concentration,dosage of catalyst,solution pH and H2O2quantity were discussed.The results showed that when initial concentration of azo dye was 40mg/L,dosage of catalyst 1 g/50ml,solution pH 4,after 4h the decolorization ration could get to 99.2%.Addition of oxidant could accelerate the reaction rate.The research revealed that TiO2/mineral composite photocatalyst had great effect on degradation for azo dye.
