Study on beneficiation of a molybdemum ores in Mongolia

The main valuable minerals are molybdenum sulphide with trace wolframium in Mongolia. Concentrates assaying 57.02% Mo at the recovery of 81.09% was given through open circuit with one rougher, three scavengers and eight cleaners on the condition of grinding size -0.074mm 55%. Concentrates grading 53.18% Mo at the recovery of 95.76% was get through open circuit with one rougher, three scavengers and four cleaners. The tailings of flotation are subjected to be processed by high intensity magnetic-reverse flotation, that yields concentrates assaying 1.22% W at the recovery of 79.97%.
