DESIGN OF SUPPORT WORK IN DRIFT HAVING ROCKBURST DANGER

Rockburst is different from common rock damage.Therefore,the design of support work for drift having rockburst danger differs from that for common drift.Starting from rockburst's definition,intensity and damaging mechanism,the properties of drift having rockburst danger and the requirement of its support work are described in details,and the procedure of its support design based on the theory of energy balance is introduced on some examples from practice.
