STUDY ON THE PERFORMANCE OF Cu2+ ADSORPTION WITH ORGANIC MODIFIED RECTORITE
-
Abstract
In this paper, the adsorption of rectorite purified and modified by dodecyl benyl dimethyl ammonium chloride(1227) for Cu2+ from copper smelter industry wastewater has been studied. The experimental results show that under the conditions without adjusting the pH,with the amount of organic modified rectorite of 0.03g/mL,the reaction time of 30 minutes, and the temperature of 25℃,the efficiency for modified rectorite to remove Cu2+ from copper smelter industry wastewater is 98.95%,and the quality indexes of the wastewater after treatment conform with the national discharge standards. The efficiency of Cu2+ removal with organic modified rectorite is better than with purified rectorite.
