Abstract
The coordination of socio-economic development and ecology is the necessary requirement to realize sustainable development. In the coal mining area affected by the coal resources exploitation, the land as its most direct impact on the ecology, which lead to a greater contradiction between socio-economic benefits and ecological benefits of land use.Based on the theory of mine life cycle, this paper analyzes the coupling mechanism of socio-economic benefits and ecological benefits of land use,so as to build coupling model on socio-economic benefits system and ecological system.Taking ShuoNan mining area as an example, the coupling degree between socio-economic benefits and ecological benefits is measured to determine the coordination and sustainability of land use in mining area. The results show that from 2005 to 2014,the coupling degree of social and economic benefits and ecological benefits of land use in ShuoNan mining area showed a “U-type” and experienced three stages of development, which basically accorded with the law of mine life cycle and was influenced by eco-environmental protection policy significantly.
