Financial performance evaluation of listed companies in coal industry based on entropy method

In this paper, the financial performances of listed companies in coal industry are valued by Alexander Wall method. The weights of performance indictors in Alexander Wall method are decided by entropy method on the basis of the latest annual report. Through the evaluation, financial performance of listed companies are compared and analyzed, and the shortcoming of this method is also pointed out.
