Energy footprint intensity and its ecological pressure analysis of Fujian province in 1990～2008

The sustainable development of the west coast economic zone of Taiwan strait cannot leave the energy support, but its ecology pressure must also pay great attention to. In this paper, based on the definition and analysis of energy ecological footprint indicator, energy footprint of Fujian Province from 1990 to 2008 is analysed.The research indicated that, The Fujian Province energy footprint increases unceasingly, the ecology pressure index elevates continually, the energy footprint structure is rather simplistic, though the energy footprint of intensity fluctuations, but overall slow down, economic development and ecological pressure relative decoupling between the performance of relationships.
