The relationship between the development characteristics of sandbody and uranium mineralization analysis of upper Xishanyao formation in Wukuerqi uranium deposit,Yili Basin

The development characteristics of sandbody determines the distribution of uranium ore,according to the Middle Jurassic sectionⅦ1andⅦ2 Xishanyao formation of the Wukurqi uranium deposit on two sub-cycles sand thickness and sand than features analyze,and the sand conformational change parts of the site are favorable mineralization,thick sand thickness by thinning the transition area is conducive to the enrichment of uranium ore.Besides,uranium ore mainly occur in high porosity and permeability of the better class of coarse lithic feldspathic sandstone,pebbly sandstone and coarse sandstone,the best mineralization granularity is coarse sandstone.
