    Experimental research on the comprehensive utilization from a vanadium-containing titanomagnetite ore

    • On the basis of research on process mineralogy characteristics and separation experiment, a pilot test is conducted on a vanadium-containing titanomagnetite ore (TFe40.74%, TiO226.11%, V2O50.29%). An iron (vanadium) concentrate is obtained with the yield of 67.80%, the grade TFe of 45.70% and 31.75 of TiO2 and 0.323 % of V2O5 and recoveries of TFe, TiO2 and V2O5 are 75.98%, 84.80% and 76.41%. A high titanium slag of the grade TiO2 of 85% and a metallic iron product of metallization rate of 90% are obtained, by grinding and separating the grinding after reducing roasting on the concentrate. The titanium and iron are fully utilized from the resource.
