Application of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation in coal safety assessment

Based on fuzzy mathematics theory, this paper applies the method of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation into the safety assessment of the coal industry and combines the situation of coal safety to establish evaluation system of coal safety. It uses Analytical Hierarchy Process to define the relative weights and applies the safety grade characteristic quantity to acquire its safety grade. The consequences indicate:the researched method is feasible and effective; it can be used widely in the coal industrial safety assessment.
