Analysis of the tungsten products trade status of China and the global

China is always the largest tungsten exports country in the world.Primary and intermediate smelting products are main tungsten export products in China, accounting for more than 65%.The export proportion of these products is even on the rise after export quotas and tariffs cancelled.Therefore, China’s tungsten export management and industrial structure will encounter new challenges.This paper analyzes China and global tungsten trade status, and the trade pattern of four tungsten raw materials, including tungsten concentrate, tungstate, ferrotungsten and tungsten powder.The conclusions are that global tungsten trade products are developing toward semi-finished or finished product; America, Japan, Europe, and other developed countries are reducing import of tungsten raw materials from China; the tungsten export of China is excessive, and export structure is unreasonable.China’s tungsten industry should speed up the transformation to the deep processing field, to advance the value chain to a higher level.
