    ANALYSING OPEN-PIT'S SLOPE RELIABILITY

    • In this paper, in the rock slope stability analysis, the strength parameters of rock masses areregarded as random variable parameters. Considering the rock slope risk and using engineering analogousmethocl, the permission failure probability and reliability index are determined. Thus, the optimum rockslopes are selected with the above results for designers.The failure probability is different from safety factor, and the calculating results of reliability analysisare more reliable and useful. because they consider more factors which influence on the rock slope stability.
