Research on OpenGeoscience information service model in Britain

With the development of information network technology,government and agencies attach great importance to the Internet open service of the geological data and information at home and abroad.The basic norms of Western countries geological data information service is rich and varied products,efficient and convenient services for meeting the needs of society.Compared with developed countries geological information services,the clustering and industrialization of geological information services at home faces many problems and challenges in the initial stage.This paper studies the British OpenGeoscience service model,including its architecture,main elements and experience.For the clustering and industrialization of geological information services,the proposal includes enriching the content of geological information service constantly,innovating forms of geological information services,updating technology and attention to science education and publicity.
