    A SHEAR-WARP ALGORITHM BASED APPROACH TO 3D VISUALIZATION OF UNDERGROUND MINES

    • This paper presents a Shear Warp algorithm based approach to 3D visualization of underground mines.It outlines the Shear Warp algorithm based process of visualization for underground mines and describes the key visualization steps,including data acquisition,voxelization,shading,shear warp transformation and image composition.The computer implementation of the approach will combine the 3D display of mine workings and ore bodies and the description of deposit attributes and can facilitate the decision making process of mine design.
