COLLECTORLESS FLOTATION FOR GOLD ORES

Collectorless flotation is a new technology and development direction. Through the theoretical and technological research for many years, the authors have achieved the collectorless flotation for goldores under the control of Na₂S and successfully applied to production,which gives a challenge to the conventlonal xanthate collectors flotation and makes flotation theory and technology to develop into a new stage.Basecl on the fundamental features of flotation process, the basic theory of collectorless flotation for goldores is discussed in this paper, and the research results, application status and prospective developrnent ofthe new technology are elaborated.
