Abstract
With the proposal and development of “the Belt and Road Initiative”,more and more China’s enterprises are doing business abroad.Among others,the mining enterprises have gone through many setbacks in the overseas development.The linguistic and cultural difference may be one of the key factors for the sustainable development of oversea mining enterprises.In light of the problems existing in the training of international talents in mining engineering and the teaching purpose of mining ESP,this paper explores the development mode for modern mining talents from both academic and professional perspective.After the analysis of the learning basis,motive,resources,and approaches of mining ESP,a reform proposal is worked out in terms of the teaching methods,content,staff and assessment.On the other hand,for the purpose of optimized development of international mining talents,specific patterns should be implemented,such as multi-sourced participation in organization,leveled training mode and context teaching process.This research may provide examples and suggestions for the future study of internationalized education in mining engineering.
