Study on process mineralogy of a vanadium bearing stone coal ore

In order to explore a reasonable exploitation and utilization scheme of a Vanadium Bearing Stone Coal Ore,Process mineralogy was investigated by research methods of chemical analysis,microscope and electron probe analysis.The results show that the vanadium has two kinds of occurrence state.The first one is isomorphism which vanadium exist mainly in hydromuscovite,and a small amount of sphene anatase hematite allanite and zoisite.The second one is in form of adsorption mainly absorbed by carbon.The selection of vanadium extraction should first discard acid-consuming minerals before metallurgical concentration.
