RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF SMOOTH-SURFACE BLASTING FAVOURBLE TO STABILITY OF FINAL SLOPE OF OPEN PIT MINE

Based on study of blasting performance using traditional pre-split blasting method,some problems in pre-split blasting mechanism used in mining practice have been found.According to actual complicated geological conditions of Langjian iron ore open pit mine,a new method of smooth-surface blasting replacing the traditional pre-split blasting has been adopted with satisfactory effectiveness.
