Abstract
The shortcomings in the existing model systems include of easy deformation, poor stability, low precision, large size effect, single test form and so on.In view of above problems, China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing) has independently developed a new geomechanical model system for high simulation of deep construction and roadway excavation process. The system mainly consists of hydraulic actuator groups, split-type loading frames, an EDC servo control system and a data acquisition system.A total of 280 hydraulic actuators provide active loading from three dimensions, and the square loading head makes the force more uniform. The split-type loading frame moves along the guide rails, supporting plane stress loading and non-uniform stress loading. The EDC servo control system maintains the load stability, and the self-feedback mode can adjust the hydraulic pressure in real time. The data acquisition system collects the static and dynamic strain values during the test, which will be used for the analysis of stress and deformation at the later stage.By a verification test based on the real engineering project, it is concluded that the new-built model system has stable performance and reliable loading, and it has certain engineering application value.
