Analysis of the present developmental state and countermeasures of non-ferrous metal industry in Inner Mongolia

According to the features of the proven non-ferrous metal and its exploration potential in Inner Mongolia,this research analyzed the strengths of the development of non-ferrous metal industry in this area as follows:production capacity enlarges continuously;the level of equipment has undergone constant improvement;resource guarantee capacity is improved significantly;core enterprises have been growing rapidly.Besides,some limitations of the development of non-ferrous metal industry were found as follows:unreasonable industrial structure;limited environmental bearing capacity;water shortages.Based on these limitations,four policy suggestions on how to improve the development of non-ferrous metal industry were provided:optimizing distribution of non-ferrous metal industry;collocating recourses reasonably and improving product structure;developing the institutional innovation to promote the growth of large non-ferrous metal enterprises;cultivating talents to develop technological innovation
