Application and development of GIS in perambulation and exploitation of mining

This article discusses some problems that exit in mining and exploitation at present; and it summarizes geography information system(GIS) used in mining, such as mining resource perambulation and appraisement, geology explore material management and programming, mining resource reserves management, dynamic monitoring and alarm system, digital mine. This article also analyses the shortage and limitation in perambulation and exploitation of mining, and expatiates the foreground of geography information system used in mining.
