Progress in research of metal mine acid wastewater treatment

The formation and hazards of acid mine wastewater were summarized. Some common treatment technologies for the acid mine wastewater such as neutralization method, sulfide sediment method, adsorption method, ion exchange method and artificial wetland method were introduced. The principles, characteristics and problems of these methods were also described. Based on the above analysis, prospects for the acid mine wastewater treatment technology were put forward.
