Coal resource of Shanxi province is abundant, and coal quality is good, it has made enormous contribution to state construction; meanwhile coal industry development also can cause the destruction of ecological environment. During future rapid development of state, Shanxi province will still play an important role in domestic coal supply, thus, should strengthen reasonable planning of coal resource and prospecting intensity, improve guarantee degree of coal resource; cultivate coal mining right market, strengthen government supervision; accelerate environment treatment of mine area, pursue a pathway of green mining; improve coal recovery rate, adjust coal industrial structure and improve the comprehensive utilization degree.
