Study on development and utilization of oil shale resource in Xinjiang

There are three main respects for utilization of Oil shale:pyrolysis oil production, combustion to generate electricity and product heat, ash utilization. Xinjiang Oil shale has its own unique characteristics, the manner of its exploitation and utilization of the means are different. Shale oil can be produced for medium oil content of oil shale in Xinjiang, it's the calories is low, ash is high, so Combined combustion of coal and production of construction materials, needed exchanges for foreign, strengthen cooperation. Based on the previous studies, This paper summarizes the basic characteristics of oil shale in Xinjiang, it also expounds the development and utilization of oil shale resource. So it has great practical significance to the development of oil shale in Xinjiang.
