Research into evolution of international copper ore trade based on complex network theory

Copper ore is an importantmetal for the world’s industrial developing so the world's copper ore trade influencesthe world industrial development.Many countries participate in international trade in copper ores and copper ore international trade relationsis complex,according to the theory of complex networks,building the international iron ore trade data published by UN COMTRADE (UNSD) from 2001 to 2010 into the world trade network,analyzed the evolution of international copper ore trade network.The results show that the number of copper ore importing and exporting countries is stabilized,but the cross-links between importing and exporting countries are increasing,trade is fluctuated growth.Affected by the financial crisis in 2007,copper ore trade declined.After 2009,the situation in the global economic recovered,the International Copper ore trade into a strong growth phase.Transit trade power status decline,China became the world’s largest copper ore importsin 2009,occupies an important position in world trade in copper ore.
