Supporting method for residual ore extraction at Tuancheng iron mine

The ore body below 100m level was almost destroyed by the mined-out area in Tuancheng iron mine and the method of ore drawing from the boundary of caved area was adopted for recovery of the remnant ore. Experimental Studying on many support methods,U-shape frame has been used to slove the problems of supporting the gateway with high stress and large deformation by means of the rational structure design and the optimal size. The remnant ore in the mined area is reasonable stoping above 50 m level,and has achieved good technical and economic efficiencies.
