Abstract
Along with the condition ofChina’s encouragement strategic policy for resources "Going Abroad", a growing number of Chinese enterprises participate in overseas resource acquisition. In decision-making of the resource acquisition, resource capacity and resource category are the important factors. However, there are lots of differences between Chinese resources standard with the resource code of foreign companies on exploration. In the exploration program of foreign companies, large-scale exploration programming is often conducted, and generally the exploration process does not follow a regular grid, and the result is to produce ultra-large-scale geological prospecting and disorganized geological data, which is much difficult to classify the resource based on the Chinese tradition resource category. The creative application methods of geostatistics and three-dimensional ellipsoid buffer were submitted to quickly classify the large-scale geological data into Chinese standard and provided a reference for investment.
