Study on the CBM project appraisement economic evaluation model

The CBM development belongs to intensive technology. It has high risk and input. Single well output of the CBM is low and recovery period is long. But it has notable social and environmental benefits. Therefore, when we carry out the CBM project economic evaluation, we should consider its economic and comprehensive benefits. The development of the CBM resources, not only reduces emission of methane to the atmosphere, but also decreases the accidents of coal mines, and increases local employment. This paper has discussed social and environmental benefits of the CBM development, and founded the CBM project appraisement economic evaluation theoretic model.
