APPLICATION OF CLASSIFIED THICKENING PROCESS IN TAILINGS DEHYDRATION OF BEIMINGHE IRON MINE

Hydrocyclone-thickener classifying and thickening experiments of Beiminghe Iron mine tailings are studied in the paper.According to the experimental results,the total tailings can be condensed from 28% low thickness to more than 60% and water can be reused effectively using the classifying-thickening process composed of ø125 hydrocyclone and thickener.The process has the strongpoint of simple flow,high condense efficiency,low investment,small workshop area and low productive cost.The process can fulfill the high efficient thickening of total tailings and it is convenient to be industrialized for the mine.
