    Application study of light-duty caving support in remaining coal mining and isolated island working face

    • The paper introduces application of light-duty caving Support in remaining coal mining and isolated island working face. The circle change rule of supporting resistance and pressure distribution characteristic on trend of light-duty caving face were analyzed by rock pressure observation. Application effect of light-duty caving support is best by techno-economic benefits analysis. Supporting parameters are suitable for the working face, indicating that there have some particular characteristics in light-duty caving remaining coal mining and isolated island working face, such as ① on the safe side at reclaiming abnormity coal column, ② higher rate of recovery of coal, ③ best techno-economic benefits. The study results provide experience of light-duty caving support application in the same condition.
