    DATA PROCESSING AND PRECISION ANALYSIS FOR GPS SLOPE DEFORMATION MONITORING

    • The development of GPS positioning technique has provided a simple and reliable way in deformation monitoring of open pit mine slope.GPS relative positioning technique was used in Shuichang open pit mine to monitor deformation of its high steep slopes. With this practice, data processing and its accuracy are represented and analyzed in this paper. The practice indicates that GPS monitoring is reliable and that compared to traditional, it is better in operability and precision. It deserves being widely spread in the filed of slope deformation monitoring.
