PROGRESS IN RESEARCH ON CONTAMINATED ENVIRONMENT REMEDIATION OF CLAY MINERALS

This paper presents a summary of the advances in application of clay minerals to the disposal of the environmental pollution caused by heavy metals ion in the wastewater is drafted.Internal mechanism of the wastewater acidification and heavy metals and organic material.Specifically,it discusses the characteristics of clay minerals and modified clay minerals and their sorption of heavy metal and organic pollutants.In addition,their absorption capacity,regular patterns and influence factors are also reviewed in this paper.Finally,a brief introduction is given to the regenerative condition of modified clay mineral and the potential prospects of clay mineral in applying to the disposal of environmental pollution.
