Development and utilization status and cooperation prospects of nonferrous metal mineral resources among the economic corridor of China, Mongolia and Russia

Mongolia and Russia both have abundant nonferrous metal mineral resources.Chinese is one of the most important mineral products consumption.The economic corridor of China, Mongolia and Russia is an important part of “Belt and Road” Initiative.The implementation of the initiative provides new opportunities for three to strengthen cooperation in the mining industry.This paper is based on the development and utilization of nonferrous metal mineral resources, through the analysis of the current situation and trend of Mongolia and the Russian geopolitical, economic development, mineral resources, investment information, to determine the future development prospects of Mongolia nonferrous metal mineral resources and related industries with the Russian economic corridor.This paper argues that:for a long time, China and Mongolia, Russia still has great complementarity in copper, gold and other nonferrous metals market supply and demand, good prospects for cooperation; the research of nonferrous metal mineral resources in this area is abundant, with excellent mineralization conditions, exploration and development potential; in the area within the existing number of foreign-funded enterprises less, Mongolia and Russia intends to further optimize the investment environment, attract foreign investment; the preferred areas suggest that future cooperation should focus on copper gold exploration cooperation and infrastructure construction.
