Status and prospects of iron recovery from magnetite tailing

A large amount of iron gangue exists in China.The grade of iron is still high in tailings. More magnetite in tailings can be efficiently recovered by using new technology. Status of iron recovery from magnetite tailing and the importance of iron recovery is analyzed.The limitations of using recovery technology and recommendations promoting iron recovery are made.
