Status and suggestion of utilizing overseas oil and gas resources

With the continuous and rapid development of China’s economy,the import of oil and gas rapidly increased in recent years.Based on the analysis of the scale,sources and other factors of overseas oil and gas resources,the paper pointed that the safety of utilizing overseas oil and gas has become increasingly serious.It was influenced by international oil and gas market,regional political situation,transport corridors,etc.In order to solve those problems,the suggestions and strategies to guarantee the supply security of overseas oil and gas have been put forward.It suggested that strategy and planning of utilizing overseas oil and gas should be strengthened,the way of import should be diversified,financial and policy support should be increased,and oil strategic reserve system should be improved.
