New application of sluice walls in water grouting area

Sluice wall is one important method of mine flood control First,It is a indispensable waterproof establishment and it's aim is to achieve subarea to protect the wells from flooding. Secondly, it is also a water blocking establishment when the channel inrushing water. However, whether it is possible to use sluice wall to block water when the coal mine working face gushing water? Does sluice wall has any new functions in blocking water when the coal mine working face gushing water? This paper does some researches through some cases and consider that: it is unscientific to block water by sluice wall when the coal mine working face gushing water. However, when gushing water, the application of sluice wall can solve the problem that too much water flood the well which caused by grouting. And it also can reduce the water pressure; prevent the grout leak in grouting. It will have better effects in preventing grout leak if we combine the sluice wall and filling mined-out area two methods in grouting water.
