DEVELOPMENT OF 3-D FEM PROGRAM FOR ROCK AND SOIL EXCAVATION AND FILLING

The ADINA program has been improved. Its some subprograms are modified in forming massmatrix and gravity load, so that the gravity changes during excavation and filling can be simulated. The construction processes of filling not following excavation immediately can be simulated by setting up air elementgroup. The modified ADINA-IM program can simulate whole construction processes of excavation and filling.
