Energy cooperation between China and Latin America outlook

Latin America is regarded as one of the three region thatChina’s oil industry is "going out" strategy for its rich oil and gas resources. Energy cooperation with Latin American meetsChina’s growing energy needs and achieves diversification of import sources to ensure energy security is of great significance. Great concern in the United States Government and geopolitical pressures and the rise of oil nationalism and regional political risk in Latin American countries is becoming the main challenges forChina’s energy diplomacy. China must pay close attention and respond to these problems, handle all aspects of care relationships, and continuously adjust the cooperative policy, in order to better development and utilization of energy in Latin America.
